I know there are no stupid questions, but this makes me feel stupid to ask but yet I have to ask because I really want to know. Is upgrading RAM by the DDR2 Chips the only way to increase RAM in a notebook? Or can the memory sticks I have seen referred to up your RAM as well and if so is there a limit to it? Please don't laugh at me too hard... ;)

If I posted in the wrong forum I hope a mod will be so kind as to move it where it can be addressed properly, I figured a mem stick is an accessory and hardware, so I hope I chose right. ;)

Depending upon you computer and you OS there is a limit. You can but virtual ram on your HD or flash drive but strait RAM is best.

Thanks Drummer101, I thought that it would work and that straight up RAM chips are best, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for posting! :) Cheers! :D
