on my Gateway 7811FX i've had a problem in which my computer stutters and can't properly run HD videos, ones which use flash. i can use the fox.com hd player but ive had issues with other websites ones. the problems seems to be that my gpu won't clock up. the 9800M GTS runs at maximum at 600 core, 800 memory, and 1500 shaders. but of course unless it is stressed it runs at 169 core and 160 memory and it seems for some reason the gpu doesn't clock up even though the video is running at like 1-2 fps, my computer is running in high performance mode. have any of you guys had these issues and if you did, did you fix them

You can try disable powermiser (of course then it will always run at max core/mem, and will produce more heat). Search up 'powermiser switch'.

Also, try right clicking on video to get Adobe Flash settings, and disable hardware acceleration.

flash is actually cpu accelerated at the moment. I am assuming based on the gpu you have at least a dual core cpu, which means flash hd files should play with little to no issue at all.
