Looking to buy a Compal JHL 90 Barebones on a tight budget.

    I'm looking for a:

    • cpu - New Pentium dual core or low end/used core 2 duo
    • RAM - 2 * 2GB
    • HDD - at least 80GB 5400RPM...
    • WLAN module - no preference, probably used to cut costs
    • Thermal paste -

Here is what I have found so far:
    CPU: T2250 (1.73GHz 2MB cache T2250 533Mhz) - $20 :D
    <s>
    Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2390 - (1.86GHz, 1Mb, 533MHz)- $55
    or Intel Core Duo T2050 - (1.6 GHz, 1mb cache, 533Mhz) - $39.99

    :D $20 CPU- Intel Core Duo T2050 - (1.6 GHz, 2mb cache, 533Mhz) [/URL],</s>

    RAM: 2 *1 GB DDR2 - $15

HDD:120GB HDD new on eBay ~$30

    Wireless:WLAN Module - pci-express WLAN 802.11 ABG $17 , or Mini PCI-E Wifi Card 5100AGN $17 (same, only one is half sized...)

If anyone knows of some Canadian online stores with great prices/US that ships to Canada so I don't have to pay shipping on each item, that would be great.

If there is a lower priced and better/similar performing component, let me know.

I'm buying now to get working, upgrading later... so I don't want to hear about the T9300 for sale on in the NBR Marketplace :p

    Yeah, I saw that.

only problem with me is warranty coverage.

Either way, they would both be upgraded after a while, so not sure.
