    Swap Blu ray Rom with Blu Ray Writer, bezel fit?

    Have an Acer Aspire 9635G with sony 5500S blu ray sata rom, want to swap with Blu ray write the 4 x LG sata one, but will the acer bezel fit it?

    How do you all sort out the bezel when you place the optical drives?, I know panasonic bezels fit sony-nec drive, but not samsung ones... not sure and sony and lg...

    Charlatan way is to verify both devices measurements, and the position/direction of the eject button.

    The bezel mountings are usually standard so that notebook manufacturers can use optical drives from difference sources. See here for an example of how they clip on.
