    Hey guys,

I'm considering swapping hard drives from two same model SZ-370's. Is it a fairly simple process? Unscrewing and unconnecting & deconnecting?

    Thanks,
    Dan

yes, that is the basic process. should be as simple as that. If it for some reason doesn't work out you can always swap back the drives.
if you have any further questions feel free to ask.

There are quite a few guides on the Internet, some of which are very detailed, which tell you how to remove and replace the hard disk in the SZ. Its a little tricky, because theres a fair bit to undo, but its certainly not impossible. Just follow the instructions, and it should be fine.

If you mean by leaving all of the stored data intact and simply swapping them in hopes that the laptops will boot from them, there is one thing to keep in mind. Even though they are the same model, there could be minor component revision differences between them if the units are not of the same age. Loading the wrong drivers for a particular device would obviously have an undesired effect on system operation. Just keep in mind that you *may* have some tweaking to do.
