hi! i recently purchased an MSI EX625 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152108) *Great machine*

this laptop has a synaptics touchpad version 6.2

i would like to get two finger scrlling to work like a mac using either one of these methods

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/...synaptics-touchpad-in-windows-7vistaxpserver/

    or

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/...-to-replace-virtualing-on-synaptics-touchpad/

i tried both to an extent, still need to play with it more, but im wondering if anyone knows if the synaptics 6.2 touchpad even supports multi touch..
    any insight is appreciated!

Heh, I tried that just two days ago on my NP8662. And yeah my touchpad didn't support it :p lol

But it really isn't hard to just find out yourself. Just download the patched driver that enables gestures, and if you still don't have any options for gestures in touchpad options, dowload that thing in the second link. This will tell you if you have correct driver and if your touchpad supports multi-touch. Just takes about 10min and the links are fine.
