I own a Asus V6J laptop and i was wondering if 65W is enough to run the T2700 CPU to run. Does anyone know if it will be fine?

It should be enough power for the T2700 processor.

The T2050 uses 24 watts of power according to Intel
The T2700 uses 34 watts of power according to Intel

    You should be fine.

You can always undervolt the processor with CPU RIghtmark or Notebook Hardware Control, so that the processor puts less of a strain on the powersupply.

I would say that the PSU has marginal capacity, even with the T2050, because of the dedicated GPU, but you may just be OK if you don't try to charge the battery when loading the CPU / GPU. Most manufacturers include a bigger PSU with a dedicated GPU.

I would strongly recommend undervolting the CPU (I've been using RMClock for several years). Most likely you can limit the T2700 to about 1.10V and save at least 10W on the power drain (and less power measn less heat and less fan activity).

Wait a minute. If I get my T61P should I then get the 90W PSU for it instead of the standard one?

    I'll have WSXGA+, 560M, T9300 and 7.2k RPM HD.

All of the T61P's come with the same 90watt power brick, so you dont have to worry about it.

Yes, but I think Lenovo will automatically do that for you. The "Help me decide" for the Power Cord says:
