So the T2050 seemed to come out without warning...and now there's a T2250? I was surfing around HP's site and saw that the dv8000t is customizable with this T2250...When did this come out?
Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor T2050 (1.60 GHz)
Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor T2250 (1.73 GHz)
Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor T2300E (1.66 GHz)
Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor T2400 (1.83 GHz)
Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor T2500 (2.0 GHz)
Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor T2600 (2.16 GHz)

That's interesting, the 2050 has 1.6ghz and the 2250 has 1.73 ghz. Does mhz make still equate to speed here?

If the architechture is the same, does that mean the Duo 1.73 is better than the 1.66! Just when i buy a 1.66 eh, typical!!

The Core Duo T2250 is not faster than the T2300E, even though its clockspeed is higher. The difference lies in the Front-Side Bus speeds. The T2250's is 533MHz, while the T2300E's is 667MHz.
The T2050 also has a 533MHz FSB. I would go for a model with a 667MHz FSB if possible.
T2250 o.O
