Hello All,
I have a XPS m1210 which came with a T2300E. I was trying to use VMWARE and I find out that T2300E does not have Virtualization (VT-x) right?
My company notebook had a T2400 with VT-x and I swapped them!![]()
They're both working fine, and CPU-Z now shows T2400 with VT-x on my xps m1210. XPS BIOS is already with Virtualization enabled, BUT: Vmware keeps complaining...![]()
Any thoughts?

Try enter setup and load defaults so the default NVRAM will be loaded, then reconfigure the BIOS.

Thanks, but, no luck.
Maybe something with Windows 7?
...and I'll check my event viewer! -
does bios have vt support?

It doesn't matter if your processor supports VT if your BIOS doesn't have the option to activate it.
