    Hey guys,

I recently bought a Ibm/lenovo T43. Very Quickly I Realized that 60gb won't cut it on my laptop. I'd Like to upgrade it but I'm sketchy about hard drives on notebooks. Do the 5400/7200 have any differences in their interfaces? I mean are they the same configuration? Do they maybe require an extra power setup etc? Currently the t43 has A TravelStar 5K100.

Has anyone upgraded a t series hard drive? I'm also concered about the hard drive shock system? Will that work if I upgrade to a 100 or 120 gb 7200 rpm drive?

    Thanks for the advice.

T43s can have issues with non-IBM firmware. search over at thinkpads.com, 2010 was the error number IIRC
