    I was wondering.

Is the Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 1.5Ghz processor any good? would it suffice to run a game such as Flight Simulator 2004 smoothly?

Depends on your gpu. If you have a good gpu, and can run games at high resolutions, then the cpu will be less important. But if you have a low end/integrated gpu and are running games at low resolutions, then you will see some sloppy gameplay due to a somewhat slow processor.

But overall, it should suffice for most games, tho you won't get excellent performance as compared to faster ones.

To get the very best performance out of Flight Simulator 2004 you should still go for a top end video card like an 8600M GT. An 8400M GS will handle it pretty well, though.

Alongside a good graphics card the T5250 will be perfectly adequate for flight simulator.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. I was planning on getting an 8600M GT along with it.
