    Is the 6-cell battery model# 41U3198 compatible with a 14" widescreen Thinkpad T61. Or is it a T60 and T60 only battery. To my knowledge the two models can not use the same batteries.

    41U3198 wont compatible with T61

    T61 use 42T5262 (6cell)

    but cd-rom battery is the same

    argh.. that *is* confusing.. I'm looking for a 4cell T61 battery myself... the contradiction in reference docs is frustrating..

    AFAIK, the T60 and T61 batteries are not compatible.. which makes it confusing when marketing or specs docs list a battery as compatible for both.. Looking at pictures, they are *physically* different...
