I'm curious if there's a 15" notebook on the market with a T7700 as an option (stock or upgrade). Every 15" I've seen equips the T7500 as the best option and I don't know if an aftermarket upgrade to T7700 is even possible on this notebook size.

So it is possible. Unfortunately for me I'm not a US resident and don't have the same range of options the North American continent has. At least the T7500 isn't a bad choice for a 15" model.

Edit: I've checked my local Dell website, and it does offer T7700 for the 15" Latitude models, I wanted one for the Inspiron 1520 I'm considering.

Why do you need a T7700? The difference between a T7500 and a T7700 is minimal for nearly all tasks. And even on the tasks where there is a difference, it's still not that much. And the premium you pay is quite large.

I've read that every extra bit of processing power helps for games such as Supreme Commander and the Total War series. As I will be spending quite a bit to try and make my future 15" purchase last as long as possible I figured it might be worth the expense (if available).

Ah. One of the few reasons that actually are good for buying a T7700.

Glad you approve of it. Unfortunately the local Dell website won't offer the option even though I'm positive I saw it a couple of months ago.
