Just wondering if anyone has any recommended sites (besides ebay) to purchase a T9300 processor for a Gateway 6860fx notebook. I've been google-ing around and only place with cheapest prices is ebay. I appreciate any responses. Thanks.

I'd post an add in the WTB section of the marketplace. Some one might have one laying around. I have one but it doesn't seem to work. I tried it on my laptop that previously had a T9300 and it didn't post.

I think Ebay is your best bet. Not many large retailers carry them anymore.

One thing I did to minimize the cost was to buy a laptop with the chip I wanted. Then swap chips and sell the laptop back. If you do it right its a lot cheaper then paying $200 for the chip alone. You will of course need to spend more money up front.
