How in the world can I get this external enclosure open without damaging it? I plan on putting it in a Rosewill case w/ a fan. In the meantime I might try to mod it with a fan and a dust cover just to see if it will work.
I've tried using a feeler guage along the cracks of the body to open it with no luck.

Well I got the Rosewill RX-358-S BLK enclosure and put a TB WD Caviar Black in it. It took a LONG time to format, but I got everything transfered over. This case stays cool with the 80mm fan, and so far I really like it.
I think I'm just gonna cut some holes on the side of the case of the Seagate Extreme and put on some dust covers so it can atleast breathe a little. This thing must be glued shut because I can't find any place to unsnap it apart. If anyone has any ideas let me know.
