    TV Tuner captures in AVI?

    I just pulled the trigger on an e1505, and now I'm looking for a good TV tuner that can capture in AVI or anything directly compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. I want to capture TV and immediately be able to edit the material that I get without having to travel through a middle man.

    I believe this Plextor one can do what I want it to do because I can capture it in DivX, but I'm not quite sure.

    Is there any recommendations anyone can make for me? Preferably, I want to spend less than $120 on this.

    That one looks like it only converts to mpeg and mpeg-2... but... it does say divx which does include avi and a ton of other wonderful formats...

    this product on newegg's one review from someguy says the software that it comes with is on the bad side... wouldn't that be an issue for you? since your going to use it heavily... i would consider looking at something else if that will become an issue

    however after looking through the internet for something similarly priced.. there isnt anything.. they all either are chips or are poor quality.. so now revising my opinion and i say go with it :D

    i have an older pinnacle system that captures to avi. so u might wanna look into a pinnacle
