    Taking apart my Inspiron 1520?

    The backlight went out on this laptop... how difficult would it be to take it apart and at least make sure a cable didn't pop out or that the lid switch isn't stuck? Any tips for me? I've taken apart desktops before, but never a laptop.

    Go to dell.com and view the service manual for the laptop. It will not get much better than that.
