    Tapping the mouse pad on ASUS K52F sometimes works like it should like a left mouse click but sometimes it closes tab?

    I have an ASUS K52F running Win 7 HP

    And this has happened for a while which really annoys me,
    I always have several tabs open in the googlechrome browser and when changing between tabs, sometimes when simly tapping the mouse pad it randomly closes down the tab

    As you can imagine this is very annoying as by just tapping on a tab to select it , it then closes it, just as if i clicked the 'x' button but my cursor is nowhere near the 'x' so it shouldn't close

    i was wondering if anyone had experienced this or knew how to resolve the problem? any settings i can check/change?
