I've heard that I can upgrade my tecra from a 6200 to a 6800, is this really possible, and if it is where can I get an upgrade card from? If think it should be possible as the GPU is on a separate PCI-E Cards but I'm prepared to be proven wrong.
Many thanks.

It has to fit, it hazs to run cool and not overheat...
So unless Toshiba makes it's own version of the 6800 that will fit in the m4, its not possible. The current 6800 is made to fit inside the XPS2's frame.
It's possible, You can physically modify the card, and solder it onto a smaller 'wafer' board, re-wire the connections, and make it fit. But...
Generally not worth it -
You can probably upgrade to a 6600 since the M4 has that as an option.
Oh but on another note I hear it gets hot pretty fast with a 6600, so a 6800 probably won't be very useful since games will cause the gpu to overheat and shut down before you get any play time. -
Ok, so its probably possible to upgrade to a 6600, where would i go to get one? Toshiba as a spare part enquiry? Or are there decent suppliers of laptop spares/upgrades out there? I've googled a bit but none of the online shops i've come across stock M4 spares.
Any help would be much appreciated. -
try contacting toshiba to see if you can purchase it as a spare part, or there is always ebay.
