I've heard that the inspirons come with a "grainy" screen (1440x900)
What does "grainy" mean? :p and how will it affect my screen? Does it come in all resolutions?

    Thanks for the help

Graininess is a physical defect with screens and it is not something you want. As the term says, graininess means that your display looks like it has specks or grains all over it. It's kinda hard to explain, unless you actually see it :( It only affects the high-resolution dell screens on their new inspiron and vostros laptops, as far as I know.
