Just wanted to say a quick thanks to all of you who put up with me asking questions about the CPU/OCing/UVing, etc. Thanks for all the guides too. Tried it a while back, but gave up on everything but the UVing for a variety of reasons. Today it finally clicked.
Just wanted to share that on my G51vx-rx05 (with the P7350) I finally got things figured out (took me a while). OCd to 2.45GHz and UVd to 1.138. I've been running Orthos off and on for the past 2 hours, tweaking the voltages and clocks. Doing the final test now; it's been 25 minutes and the temperature has maxed at 64 degrees (stabilizes at 62/63). Looks like its gonna hold there, though I am going to keep running it for a while to make sure its stable. I figure that if it doesn't give me any errors after 30+ minutes, I'll call it stable and just continue testing it through gaming (I sometimes play hours a day), if it crashes, I'll reduce it some. I could try undervolting more, but I don't feel like I need to at this point. Unfortunately, if I attempt to OC to 2.5GHz Orthos gives me an error.![]()
Only question I have now is, "Does hibernating/sleeping mess with SetFSB/CrystalCPUID? Do I have to manually start them after coming back from sleep/hibernate? I already have them set to start automatically at startup/login.
Anyways, thanks again for all your help and patience! NBR is a great community. If this post is out of line, please forgive me/move to the appropriate forum!

I use throttlestop to undervolt, but I don't see why if its running before your standby it wouldn't be when you resume
