Ok as you might have read, I wanted to do a (1920x1080p) LCD swap in my Asus A52f-x3 laptop with Intel HD graphics. I ordered a AU Optronics B156HW01 V.4 LCD and hooked it up to my STOCK lvds cable.
Here are the results.

LETS MOVE ON!
After chatting with some forum members, mainly LSB, I came to the conclusion that I needed a FHD LVDS cable. Here is where I am confused, The B156HW01 V.4 has a 40 pin connection which fits fine on the LCD, but my Stock LDVS has a 30 pin female insert that goes to my MOBO (which is a k52 rev 2.0)...

After pondering, I asked myself, why not get a Asus FHD LDVS from another laptop, in which I did. I ordered the Asus N55sw LDVS CMOS MIC Ribbon.
That is all for now, if any of you have any input please help me out. I will rep everyone who contributes.
After all this I will get to my g60 backlit keyboard mod, piece of cake.

If your mobo only has 30 pins its likely it wont work.

Are there any 1920x1080px WXGA HD 15.6" screens out there instead of FHD?
So it looks liek this swap isnt going to really work out, Atleast I gave it a shot. I am returning the screen and I cancled my order with AsusParts.eu. Looks like Im stuck with this 1366x768 :/
My MOBO doesnt support FHD or dual channel LVDS so I am out of luck. I will probably look into buying a new Asus laptop, maybe the g60vx or something.
Thankyou guys for all your help -
Well, you could get a decent 1366x768 panel, some probably exist. It won't do anything about the resolution, but most 1366x768 panels are junk to start with so that might be your problem.

the g60vx keyboard is installed, without back lit keys. the ribbon cable is ultra small, smh, my planned mods are failing. I do liek the keyabord better than the stock a52f keyboard
