    So yea I was looking all over the net for a ST9500420AS or a ST9500420ASG and they are just out of stock EVERYWHERE. I went through all of froogle and none of them had them in stock. I emailed a couple of rinky dink places and asked if they actually did have them in stock and I'll point you in their direction if one of them can actually confirm it.

    So yea they are just AWOL everywhere. I mean its been out for a while now. Whats the hold up seagate. Get those factories movin'.

    Now I am going to have to go get a scorpio or something for new laptop which comes in tomorrow.

    Try looking for local retailers, maybe its popularity makes it very hard to buy it online..

    Join the club buddy. I am also looking for it the last 2 months and subscribed stock notifications on several sites. Until today that hard drive is nothing more than just a name. I can not get it. I am waiting for it for an upgrade but it's getting very very delayed. Soon there will other brands releasing better models.

    Lets keep waiting a bit more.
