Is there a noticeable difference between 1gig and 2gigs of RAM when running Vista. Also, is 45$ for 1gig Kingston RAM a decent price? I know eBay is cheaper, but I don't feel like waiting.
EDIT: I also play the occasional game, mainly half-life2.

Yes, there is a big difference
$90 for 1GB Kingston is expensive, last week I got 2 stick of 1GB Kingston ram for $43 each plus 15% tax in Canada -
It's pretty significant. 2GB is now the new baseline, and pretty much the minimum for running Vista well, especially if you want to game.
