There is nothing to say really, der Bauer did sumirize everything.
-
I think we need to consider this knowledge for those who needs to upgrade their DMx/KMx models to the new CPU's. The real DTR laptops world sometimes is different than the desktop, especially with a mysterious company like Clevo.Vasudev likes this.
-
Not really, since temps and VRM's are going to be way more the issue before the pins are. Derbauer did a 5ghz prime95 test on a 8700K, none of the clevo turdbooks can do that.
-
I can agree with you that Clevo has some issues, but it's far away from being a turdbooks. I know that you are a knowledgeable guy please be fair.
-
Actually, glad you guys brought this up.
I'd really like to see no aspersions cast on BGA or LGA laptops any longer, as both have their place in many people's lives that really enjoy them and are enthusiastic about them.
Calling their laptop's names, making people feel bad - like their choice of happiness is wrong, is so disappointing to everyone, and name calling convinces no one for or against either LGA or BGA.
How about in 2019 we all stop using "turdbook"?

As a notebook it's a turd, as a mini ITX Build it's okish.Hence I call it a turdbook. It's an oppinion.
@ hmscott
Honestly I would agree if I would see a single person who would effectively use an LGA notebook as a notebook and not a mini ITX build. But nobody would actually want to use the awful keyboard, speakers, coolingsystem etc. So there is that :/
It's aanother discussion tho, so i'd say lets talk about the socket instead. -
Dear brother, respect other people choices is all what we are talking about. No need to use any inappropriate words. @ hmscott I'm fully agree with you hope that we all have 2019 without using any "inconvenient" words. We always can deliver our thoughts and our convictions in style.Last edited: Jan 1, 2019hmscott likes this.
