    Alright, how about sharing some battery life data? Battery life as indicated in official specs can be misleading at times, so why not hear it directly from owners. ;) Any brand, any model is welcome.

    I'll start. HP Pavilion zv6000...

    ~2:15 half-brightness, wifi/bt off, surfing, writing, emails
    ~1:30 half-brightness, wifi/bt off, intensive gaming
    ~1:45 full brightness, wifi/bt on, surfing, writing, emails

    ~5 hours normal brightness, word processing, LAN connectiong wifi off surfing
    ~3.5-4.5 normal brightness, light multitasking wifi on
    ~2.5-3.5 normal brightness, heavy multitasking/gaming wifi on

    Never tested the 4cell cause I got 1-1.5 with word processing and surfing LAN connection wifi off.

    Acer 5672(current rig')
    ~3.5 normal brightness, surfing wordprocessing light multitasking LAN connection wifi off
    ~2.5-3.25 same as about except wifi on
    ~2.25-2.5 wifi heavy multitasking

    havent tested battery gaming yet but Im sure with the x1600 its pretty low ~1.5 hours.

    around 30 minutes with brightness on 1/2

    i think there might be something wrong with my battery

    toshiba satellite a25-s307 (from 2003), 12 cell original battery

    lowest brightness - wifi off - proc on lowest setting = 3.5 hrs
