    Hi to all , i want to ask you . Can i change the laptop processor from intel pentium dual core to intel core2duo without changing the motherboard . my laptop is ( hp dv6312ea) hp dv6000 series . thx to you all :)

    Yes. To the older 667 MHz Meroms. The chipset would be 945M, so it can support all versions of Core Duo, and the earlier generation Core 2 Duo(T5x00, and the even numbered T7XXX). It would certainly require a BIOS update also.
