16:10 was just a temporarily solution from the start when media were both 16:9 and 4:3.

Now when basically everything is 16:9 it is rather obvious that the monitors goes in that direction as well. Has nothing to do with foolish costumers as some here believes.

Still some software are designed for monitors with more vertical space but this will change as more and more goes 16:9.

This is like saying 4:3 gives lower resolution where the real reason is that most of them are made like 6 years ago. 16:9 does not give higher resolutions, newer/better technology does. The fact that the screen makers choose an aspect ratio to cut production cost is why we have 16:9.

Sure he does. I now found you as a partner to open a 16:10 flat panel company. Anyone else? :D

    2) I am just referring to reliable source and stats which says that 16:9 monitors over all has higher resolution.
    3) Many movies are done with a thought that they should be played in 16:9 on TV later on. However this is an argument for 16:9.

Well, I really hate 16:10 to be honest so I am going to continue to argue against it.

16:10 tablets were better than 4:3 for low resolution (WXGA > XGA). Plus 4:3 skews ultraportable tablets (x61t/x60t have a short backspace, and alot of right keys were smaller, while x200t/x201t were perfect). 16:10 made tablets wider and allowed them to have a normal keyboard.

it's apparent that your hatred of 16:10 is blinding you to the salient points that prior posters and other web sources have posted about why 16:9 screens are not as productive for many users who use their computers in ways other than you as is also the fact that you're ignorant of the facts as to why the display companies are championing 16:9.

i'm not going to waste time to try to correct your mistaken notions if all the prior efforts have failed. what i would suggest is that any relevant posters should just ignore your posts since they're not really contributing to any meaningful discussion.

ps. i don't really understand why you feel you need to hate 16:10 displays. enjoy your 16:9 and carry on with your life.

Wow, time to put an end to this fiasco. Wish I had seen it sooner.

All of your pro-16:9 arguments are worthless. You're full of it.

Notice all the comments from posters who have taken time to correct you; I have utmost respect for them because of the patience and restraint they've shown.

I however, won't watch them waste their time arguing with an imbecilic person such as yourself anymore. Don't post in this thread again.

Edit: you're banned, all of your posts are in this thread. I don't have the time nor patience for this crap. Good day.

Well I'd take the x220t over the other tablets. A better IPS screen will always triumph over a 16:10 TN panel...though 16:10 IPS panel would seal the deal.
