I'm going to get a 7200RPM hard drive for my Laptop... going to go the upgrade route instead of new route. How do I know what's compatible with my laptop? Thanks!

What is it... SATA? PATA? It's been a while since I've kept up with this stuff hehe.

Looks like an IDE hard dive ... at least according to this.

    These may work.

You do have an older computer; it's probably not worth dumping too much money into. Also, please keep all relevant questions in one thread -- there's no need to make two separate threads about CPU and HDD. Thanks :)

Humm, does Newegg ship to Canada? I don't want to pay UPS brokerage fees if they use them to ship heh.

Yeah, I won't drop too much money on my laptop, it's going to last me quite a while actually if I use it the way I do. :)
