So a while ago I was given this old thinkpad as a spare computer type of thing. The only problem is that the battery is completely dead. So not willing to spend 90-something bucks and having the technical skill to hopefully avoid it, I've made the decision to open the battery pack and swap the battery cells. So upon opening the pack I stumbled upon this type of battery:
Sanyo HR4/3FAU Hydride 4/3A cell HR-4/3FAU
I was planning on purchasing these until I remembered somebody saying that you should always take a step up as far as battery power is concerned when doing a project like this. Now being relatively clueless in the world of batteries I was wondering if you guys could help me out by steering me in the right direction as far as a replacement for these go. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
