This TV Tuner

It's a hardware component. I don't understand if it is only HDTV, or does it also have normal public television channels available, i.e. my favorite Oregon Public Broadcasting?

Hoping someone can confirm for me, and recommend to get it/stay away from it.

Good question. I meant the link, but now it is working. The description I read said digital only. So you have to make sure you get those signals in your area. Digital does not have to be HD. So yes it can get Standard Definition shows but only from a digital signal which will be all there will be as of Feb, 2008.

 

Feb 2009*. Such a long ways away. Japan's had DMB for years =\
