Technically, the delidding is the action that voids the warranty. The cooler just requires that step first.

I'll be interested to see what the delta T is between this and a standard block that needs the IHS and extra TIM layer.

The worst technique for every single step in the process, good going LTT...

So it's unknown just how much difference it helped at full OC vs IHS/LM or other cooler with water/LM, but only 2c for the single comparison they measured, not worth it.

And, they didn't do a valid test that could be used to check core temperature differentials, yet incorrectly said it was within 2-3c core temp differentials... bad form giving misleading information, all around.

Cooler looks cool, glad someone is making one, I remember the Danger Den part from long ago.

yes and no. considering theyre running that 7700K at 5.3 Ghz with thermals in the 60s to low 70s, thats definitely nothing to sniff at! although an interesting video, ure right that it was completely half-assed, focussing more on the "entertainment" factor rather than actually doing valid testing. however, one might argue that since the cooler they used is still in prototype stage, its not worth it yet to do a full and proper review...

There are a few more video's covering it already, perhaps a full controlled test review will follow soon. :)
