Hi, I've got a Time (Mitac) 7321 laptop. It looks as thought the LCD screen has broken to some degree.

Initially, I thought the screen had totally died as it looks as if totally blank (as if it is turned off) although if you look closely you can feintly see the image on the dark screen. Any ideas as to where the fault might lie? Is it worth the cost of getting it repaired?

    Many thanks in advance!

That sounds like the backlight for the LCD went out. Look into getting that replaced. It's cheaper than a new laptop, but it depends on what it's worth to you.

    Definitely what pitabred said. Unfortunately.

Hi guys, thank for the opinions. Will take a look in ebay etc. and see if i can source a replacement backlight. It's a Samsung LT150X3-124 backlight - don't suppose anyone would know of a source for Samsung spares?

    thanks again!
