For those of you with Intel graphics....

You can remove these by just unregistering the Intel graphics shell context menu (igfxcui), and based on this kb article Intel supports that solution since they let you download a .reg file that does it for you:
    http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-003927.htm

After this is removed, to gain access to the same features go to Control Panel -> view by large icons -> Intel(R) GMA Driver for Mobile

Or just right click on the Intel icon on the taskbar.

    Nice tip. Worked easy.

I like to keep my context menus clean of stuff I hardly use.

I know right, the more stuff you have on them the longer it takes them to come up.

Is there a version of this for the NVIDIA control panel option?

With recent (rel90 or so?) NVIDIA drivers, you can remove the NVIDIA Control Panel entry by launching the NVIDIA Control Panel (either from the windows control panel or, er, the desktop context menu) "View" menu -> uncheck "Add Desktop Context Menu"

Someone mentioned the load time of the desktop context menu. If you've removed it then the shell doesn't have to load that extension - it literally loads a dll and runs some code in it every time you load the menu. In some situations on some systems this can take noticeable time. For users who never use it, that's unacceptable.

See the KB article I posted above - the reason Intel is supporting this solution is for users who have slow desktop context menu load times.
