Hi guys. I was hoping I could get some help here. Got a couple questions.

1.) Is it possible to connect two computers via a USB cable so you can transfer files between the two computers? If I buy a two ended USB will it work or do I need to do something else?

2.) Does anyone know a webpage that explicitly describes the steps needed to connect Tivo to your computer via USB so that you can use SpinRite on your Tivo drive? I want to leave the Tivo HDD in the Tivo box but run SpinRite on the drive. Can this be done? Anyone know where I can get detailed instructions on the steps I must do. I have no experience doing it before.
