Ok guys, I need your help on this one.

I’m trying to clean all the dust from my hp dv9500t laptop without actually opening it up. Thus far, I have sprayed some compressed air into the vents and cleaned a lot of dust. I used a vacuum to get all the dust back out.

    My Questions:

    1. I have noticed this laptop only has one fan in its exterior, where is the GPU fan?
    2. Is this one fan responsible for cooling both the CPU and GPU? If not, do I have to open the laptop to get to the GPU fan?

They usually use 1 fan to cool the cpu and gpu.

And a good heat sink. Opening up is not that hard you should consider doing it. I think you are just blowing alot of it around. My thoughts are if you are not going to open you should not be using positive Air pressure only negative. I don't think you are going to cause serious harm but just from common sense you might blow dust deeper in and not be able to "suck" out.
