The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I don't care much for Tom's reviews anymore.

    So inconsistent if you read some of their reviews on videocard shootouts and such when they have multi-part reviews.

    They say one thing then in the second part of their review they say something completely different.

    I don't have links to any of these reviews to back up what I'm saying, but I just don't trust them.

    Still it is a useful review for those who want to upgrade their notebooks. Lots of information is put together.

    PS. The review is misleading about its conclusions because Western Digital notebook HDDs, which are probabaly the best, are not included.
