    Hello,

I have a Toshiba A200 notebook with the nVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 card.
It is a 128MB Card and apparently it is discreet.

Anyone know if this card can be upgraded to something more powerful?

I would appreciate anyone's advice and help.

    Cheers. :) :D

You will need to find out whether it is MXM, and what version it is. Generally, no you can't, as the majority of notebooks out there use proprietary sockets and connectors, and form factors. This could be an exception to that though.

Since yours is an A200 (same base model as mine, though mine is the A200-TH7), you may be able to upgrade to the ATI Radeon Mobility HD2600 (roughly 4x the performance based on 3Dmark06). I can't see Toshiba switching up their (likely proprietary) port just between models.

if u really want an upgrade , try the DIY Vidock instead of wasting money on the 2600 which won't be much of an upgrade...

warning... u need an external monitor with DIY Vidock and it is not portable.. if u really want a portable upgrade get a new laptop :D :D :D
