The F55-Q502 currently has DDR2 800Mhz memory in it.

If the FSB is 1066Mhz, will the laptop support 1066Mhz DDR3 memory?

    Thanks,
    Steve

If the current memory is DDR3, then yes. If not, then very unlikely. Just search the toshiba website for a user manual, it will tell your these kinds of details.

Since it has DDR2-800 memory installed atm, so No - you cannot install a DDR3-1066 module. A DDR3 module will not fit in a DDR2 slot.

And you won't get a noticeable performance boost by clocking, or having the memory clocked at 1066MHz.
