    Here is my issue.

I recently bought a Toshiba L35-S2366 laptop. It came with 512Mb RAM. I purchased 2 1G module to replace the 512MB. I put in the single 1G module and that worked fine. When I put in both the 1G modules, the system starts up, but then it gets stuck in "windows is loading files...". I tried the 1G modules separately to make sure both of them work and they do. I also tried the 1G with the 512M and this time the system would start up but only recognize 1G not the 1.5G. Also, when I put in both the modules and start up and go to BIOS, the BIOS does say that it is 2G. So seems like BIOS recognizes it, but the OS does not?? The OS installed is Windows Vista Basic.

    Please help.

may be i'm noob too but i think you check again your RAM...they are both of BUS 533. You try 1 RAM 1GB if it work, you check 2 RAM . In this problem i think about ur Ram Bus.Ur Ram must like chip ,like bus.
