    Hi all,

    i'd like to replace my laptop's video card on a toshiba qosmio x500 10q

    originally it is a nvidia geforce gts 250m

    is there any option to put a better one or the same because mine is not working correctly. it heats too much and the laptop freezes or displays a bsod.

    but i don't know if it is compatible, it is a mxm 3.0 video card.

    Looks like an MXM 3.0A card, 3.0B are more tall than wide. I have no idea about Toshiba if they are picky about vBios, might be better to post this in Toshiba subforum..
