    Hi,
    I'm looking for 1gb ram for my toshiba R100. The one I found cost 80$ which is quite expensive for an old model of ram imho...
    It needs to be a 200 pins I think.

    NewEgg has it a little cheaper. Also you should be able to use a different speed DDR and should work fine will just downclock, the cheapest I found was $49.99 it is PC2700 so will downclock to PC2100 link.

    I looked around again and the cheapest I found (Canada) was $76 So I can't do any better than you did. Sorry forgot to look at your location, make friends with an American might save money?
