I want to upgrade ram memory in my Toshiba C55-A-1JL (PSCGAE-07401RPL). Standard module is Hynix PC3L dual voltage 4GB. But on slot i saw text "1.5V". I bought Kingston 4GB module with identical parameters as Hynix module, only voltage is different. Kingston module is only 1.5V voltage.
My question is: what voltage supports mainboard (Intel PT10F) in this notebook? Can i safely use this Kingston module with original Hynix ram module?

Since you notebook doesn't have an ultra low voltage CPU, you should be able to use the 1.5v RAM without issue.

Yes, but i can mix dual voltage Hynix module and 1.5V Kingston module without risk?
And why both RAM slots have 1.5V caption on it? This mean my notebook dont support low voltage memory? -

The dual-voltage module will increase its power draw to accommodate the other. As long as you're not trying to run a single-voltage 1.35v stick with a single-voltage 1.5v one together, you'll be fine.

Voltage increase should not result in higher power consumption. It fixed by the Kirchhoff law (I am a student of electrical engineering: P). In higher voltage, current should be lower, but temperature might slightly increase.
Of course this is only a theory, I doubt that the module was so well done.
