    Hi
My Tecra M2 has a whopping 60Gb in it and I would like to upgrade. Ideally I would like to slap a 320Gb drive in there but I imagine is has some sort of BIOS set size limit? Does any one know if a 2.5" Seagate/WD/Samsung will work if I put it in there?

If there is a BIOS limit is there some way to overcome it?

The largest ATA harddrive is 250gb for notebooks.
However the fastest mobile pata/ata/ide harddrive is the Samsung HM160HC.

    See my review:

You can see that the 160gb 5400rpm drive is faster than the 250gb 5400rpm drive from Western digital. If you want capacity, go for the 250gb, but if you want more speed get the samsung drive.
