    I recently swapped a SONY VAIO 800mhz for a toshiba tecra m3 specs below
    Intel Pentium M 740? 1.73ghz
    Centrino
    WIFI/Bluetooth
    15" XGA Tft
    CD-RW
    512MB DDR2 RAM
    60gb HDD 5400rpm
    XP Pro
    GeForce 6000 Go 64M Dedicated Video Memory
    Diesel Carry Case (Very Stylish)
    MSI MegaSky 580 DVB-T HD Ready Card
    Magic wand ariel

    my questions are

    1. did i get skanked or a good deal
    2. is it worth upgrading to a 7200rpm drive
    3. can i upgrade da graphics mojo (PCI-E X16 b4 u ask)

    You said you "swapped" a Sony for a Toshiba. Did you pay extra for the Toshiba? Most of the time you won't notice that much of a differnce with a 7200 rpm drive. Everytime the disk needs to be accessed, it'll be faster with a 7200rpm drive. It really comes down to do you really need it or not. And about the graphics, you cannot upgrade graphics on a notebook. You'll have to be satisfied with what you have.
