    Toshiba U945 + Intel 7260

    Just spent a good 30 minutes messing around with this and getting nowhere.

    Trying to replace the stock 2230 with a 7260. The cards look identical, the antenna attachments are the same, etc. The laptop recognizes the 7260 just fine, but I can't see any networks.

    I've tried:
    - Restarting
    - Wiping the drivers completely (did this twice, in fact)
    - Switching the antenna connections in case I mixed them up

    Nothing:/

    Put the 2230 back in and I'm back online.


    My uneducated guess would be that perhaps the antenna that's built into this laptop is somehow not compatible? I did a bit of research and it sounds like this is unlikely, so any other ideas? Would really like to be able to use 5 ghz because there are loads of 2.4 ghz networks around me..

    I used 18.2, the latest on Intel's site.


    Other suggestions?
