I'd like to know if I can swap my hard drive to a 7200 rpm drive either 60g or 100g.
If so how easy or difficult is it and are they available?
I don't know enough to even start looking, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Typically you have to take off one or more screws. Slide the drive out. Put the new one in the caddy. Put it back in and then re-install windows. If you can get a copy of the service manual, the procedure should be covered there.

Do they make a 7200rpm HD to fit it though, Toshiba doesn't offer one for it.

Yes, all 2.5" notebook hard drives are the same size and works with 99% of the interfaces used.

Where can I look for a deal on one, and what brand is stable.

Only two makers, Hitachi and Seegate. I'd prefer Hitachi just cause they have been making them for a couple of years whereas Seagates are fairly new. They are not cheap though. Probably $180 for the 60GB versions. I'd check NewEgg and ZipZoomFly.
