Notebook hardware control wont startup and when i attempt to run it it says "ERROR:
Object referance not set to an instance of object"

Iv tried deleting the acpi folder and removing the settings file and that didnt work... i dunno what else will fix it...

also my notebook touchpad , on my old laptop it got worn away and you could see the white plastic , i dont want the same to happen to this one , can i cover it with somthing??? Im plan on getting a wireless mouse very soon anyway.

For the touchpad, I've used these from portable one. They worked pretty well on my Inspiron 6000. The sticky abhesive didn't last for more than a month at a time though. But I use my touchpad all the time and never carry a mouse with me.
