Am at that stage where I wanna upgrade the HD and memory on my toughbook but am finding it really difficult to find suppliers here in good old Blighty.
Can anyone out there throw in a few suggestions.
Many thanks

You should try Newegg.com for upgrades. Ebay for the rest. I just upgraded the hard drive in my CF-28 to the new Seagate 80GB 7200 RPM hard drive. The speed of the laptop has DOUBLED! I also added a DVD/RW to mine (Originally came with a CD player). I bought the slimline DVD from Newegg and took apart the CD housing. You need to be careful that you don't strip the screws but other than that... It's easy to disassemble. It only comes apart and goes back together one way! When you take it apart you need to either solder in a SMD 000 resistor or solder a small blob of solder on the contact points of R202 on the little PC board that is on the back of the CD/DVD. (Panasonic makes their CDs as a master and others make theirs as CEL (cable select). By soldering the points on R202 you force it to be the master DVD and the laptop fires right up. I'm adding WiFi this week and plan on adding bluetooth in the near future. I'll post here with pictures when I do.

NewEgg won't work for the UK. Though I've been to the UK, I didn't check out any PC stores while there.
