Hey all. So I been using the logitech m570 trackball mouse and i find it very comfortable. The issue? This is my second one because the first i had issues with it double clicking or not clicking correctly... now the same thing has happened to this one. Basically when left clicking... it won't click unless i click on a specific spot on the left side of the mouse.
Now I will have to get this same mouse yet again because i use multiple monitors and using trackball to move the mouse is comfortable. Now... if i order it again on amazon, i know they have like an additional warranty for a few years and you pay something ridiculously low for the warranty. Now does that mean if anything goes wrong with the clicking or whatnot during that time, you could send it back and get a new one? Because seems like literally i have to get one every year or at least every half a year. This mouse had issue months ago so it had issues like 6 months in with the clicking. Now if i didn't buy the warranty on amazon.com... is there still a warranty on it like a year or its only a month? Because i think it would be good idea to pay like 5 dollars more or whatever the extended warranty is? If you read the reviews, tons of ppl say it works great but every year you need to get a new one... others have to replace it every few months or so.
Now I gotten the mouse wet quite a few times. When im drinking water and hand is wet and touch the mouse. So that most likely caused this issue? But i see tons of ppl talk about the issue with mouse double clicking or not clicking and im sure they are more careful than me. Now besides this mouse, any other trackball mouse that is recommended? I see a few on amazon but those look weird with the mouse right in the middle. I do feel like this is the best mouse out there though.

The M570 is a little cheaply built. I've heard that the Logitech MX Ergo has better build quality than the 570.
If you'd like to experiment with different form factors, there is also the Elecom Deft Pro (I use this one regularly). It's a finger trackball as opposed to a thumb trackball like the Logitech but the form factor is kinda in the middle between the Kensington slabs and the Logitech thumb-balls. -
Thanks. But do you know if i could actually return these 2 trackball mouse though? I read logitech has like a 3 year warranty for it? -
